Cork is the largest county in Ireland
and has embraced the art of living to such an extent that visitors cannot but
relax and enjoy her charms. Noted for its fine restaurants it also has great
shopping choices in many of its towns. The countryside contrasts from the
more rugged West Cork with its hills and bays, to low lying East Cork with fascinating towns
such as Youghal and Cobh. And between both is Cork City
sited on the River Lee, designated as European Capital of Culture 2005.

fitted to their roof. The meter inside the car should be clearly visible and
on. Cork Taxi Co-op is available on 1850200524. Alternatively, rental car
services are available. Both Budget (0214314000) and Alamo National Car
Rental (0214962277) are at the airport.

Getting to Woodwards Auctioneers

Joseph Woodward & Sons Ltd is located on Cook
Street. Cook
Street is a ‘side street’ which branches off
Patrick Street (the main
street of the city centre) and the South Mall (the biggest street of
the business and financial district). If approaching from Patrick
Street, look for Clinton Cards. They are on
the corner of Cook Street. Proceed
down this street, away from Patrick
Street, and you’ll find Woodwards on the right
at the opposite end. If approaching from the South Mall end, locate
AIB Bank (no 66 – a large limestone building). Woodwards is just a short
walk around the corner from that. If you have any problem locating us,
please give us a call on 021-4273327 and we will do what we can to help
you. For more information, visit www.woodward.ie
